Monthly Meetings take place virtually on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.  Virtual Monthly Meetings are open to Members and Guests. Active Members are Free. Guest are $15. 

Leadership Roundtable (LR) takes place virtually on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM.  LR meetings are for NCHR-SD Members.  On occasion we do allow guests to attend.  Please contact Leadership Roundtable Chair Judy Enns.

    Suzanne is an accomplished, business-minded human capital leader, advisor and educator who understands the impact and importance human capital has on executing the business strategy and the fundamental shift taking place in the workforce and workplace…today’s employees are seeking growth, inspiration and belonging.

    As a Chief People Officer, Suzanne spent the last two decades serving as an internal busines co-pilot and strategic advisor helping integrate business and people strategies to enhance organizational performance and the employee experience. In 2021, recognizing that corporate leaders and boards, now more than ever are placing an increased focus on talent, teams and the entire human capital function, Suzanne founded Human Capital Resource Partners (HCRP), an advisory and consulting firm providing HR leadership and deep domain expertise on an interim, fractional, and project-basis. HCRPs, using the fundamental building blocks of talent, rewards and culture, helps organizations think differently about how they can architect the employee experience to create more meaning and more purpose through work.

    Leveraging 20+ years of in-house experience leading and scaling HR at companies ranging from early-stage start-ups to large, public operating companies across a range of industries (concentration in life science and technology), HCRPs works with companies experiencing high growth or significant transition to reduce the vulnerability of critical gaps in HR leadership or functional domain expertise, by augmenting and complementing internal teams in a fractional, on-demand or interim capacity. The goal is to help organizations eliminate capability gaps and accelerate time to impact.

    Suzanne holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Certification in Human Resources Management. For more than 10 years she has also served as an adjunct professor in Total Rewards (Compensation) in the Human Resources bachelors’ program within the Fowler School of Management at San Diego State University. Previously Suzanne also served as the HR Program Advisor and an instructor in SDSUs HR Certification Program. Combining her academic experience focused in data and analysis (finance degree and compensation expertise) with her “PhD of experience” in human behavior and motivation, Suzanne likes to say she’s bilingual - speaking fluently the people and analytic languages that are essential for HR leaders today.

    She also sits on both non-profit and for-profit corporate boards (and currently serves as the chair of the Compensation Committee on a private company board), and is a proud mom, wife, athlete and lifetime learner.

    Without doubt, last year’s adjustments are having transformational impacts on organizations. The result of COVID's wake is creating valuable cause for leadership teams to evaluate and align every role within organization to its vision and purpose.  As leaders asses competencies and skill gaps, the exercise is forcing organizations to have a longer-range view to support organizational sustainability and build potential to scale. 

    Join us as we take you on a journey and share how these organizations work to hone every part of their organizations roles from the finance team, through the marketing, sales and customer service teams, through R&D, IT, compliance and of course HR.  

      How networking works... 

      • The Zoom rooms will open at 11:30 AM.  The first 25 minutes (11:30-11:55) will be used for networking with NHCR-SD members and guests.
      • All attendees will be admitted via a Zoom waiting room/lobby by our virtual meeting coordinator and will be placed into breakout rooms for networking. 
      • All attendees will be brought back into the main waiting room/lobby at 11:55 AM.  Keynote speaker begins at 12 PM.

      Many NCHR-SD events are eligible for SHRM & HRC Recertification Continuing Education credits.
