“Pay Transparency: What you need to Know.”
Facilitated by Tim Silvera
“Productive discussions, valuable information”
California has a new law requiring employers with 15 or more employees to include the pay scale for a position in any job posting, leading to some strange postings: “Wanted: Software engineer willing to work for anywhere between $90,000 and $900,000,” a real job post from Netflix.
The theory is that pay transparency promotes equity if every job applicant, internal or external, can negotiate with the same data. Implications for counteroffers, ability to bargain, competition for talent, challenges to non-profits and small businesses are open for our discussion, led by Tim Silvera, founder Optimum Comp Advantage, Inc.
Tim is a total rewards expert with extensive experience in designing and implementing better compensation and performance practices for today's workforce. His expertise includes executive and broad-based compensation, variable pay design, performance management and sales compensation. Tim’s experience spans domestic as well as global compensation in the high-technology, real estate, manufacturing, energy, life sciences, medical device, financial, outsourcing and healthcare industries.
Discussions are highly interactive, thought-provoking and worthwhile.
