Jessica is an experienced and tremendously resourceful employee human resources professional, with 15+ years of multi-unit human resources, compliance, recruiting, health & welfare, leave of absence, compensation, strategic planning, training, program development, retention, and retirement experience and apply analytical, technological, communication, leadership, employee development, and strategic skills to increase the employee total rewards experience while assisting the organization’s short-term and long-term vision.
At age five, Jessica and her family returned to the United States. She grew up on an avocado and horse ranch in Moorpark, CA. Jessica was exposed to her family’s definition of integrity, dedication, hard work and accountability. Her insatiable curiosity, ingenious mind set since childhood, lead to her family’s endless looks of panic that arose from hearing her Jessica say, “Oh wait a minute I think I have an even better idea”. She has grown to embrace it as one of her strongest assets in the workplace. Whether exploring new software projects or getting to know a stakeholder, her curiosity has consistently led her to discover innovative outside the box solutions, while at the same time building strong relationships through her ability to see things from multiple perspectives.
Jessica’s Family dedicated their lives to agriculture and Equine horses specifically. She used her parents work ethic and dedication to peruse areas that she is passionate about and dedicated to; all of which encompass Innovation, Strategy and People. She studied Psychology at Loyola University of Maryland as well as Human Resource Management at California State University San Marcos. She also has a broad work experience which spans multiple industries to include: Government Defense, Pharmaceutical, Agriculture, Food Service, and Consulting.
Jessica enjoys spending time adventuring and seeking out new and memorable life experiences. She loves making new connections bringing great people together to further actualize professional and self-growth. Jessica loves to travel, spend time outdoors, cycling, snowboarding, camping, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.
